The Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster (CDICC) serves as the central industrial platform for the nation’s defence sector. Acting as the main contact point for Croatia’s defence and security ecosystem, CDICC encourages collaboration and connections between academia, the public sector, and private stakeholders. Through its role, the Cluster fosters joint initiatives, enhances communication and knowledge exchange, encourages project development within the sector, thereby contributing to the competitiveness and innovation of Croatia’s defence industry.
The Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster (CDICC) serves as the central industrial platform for the nation’s defence sector. Acting as the main contact point for Croatia’s defence and security ecosystem, CDICC encourages collaboration and connections between academia, the public sector, and private stakeholders. Through its role, the Cluster fosters joint initiatives, enhances communication and knowledge exchange, encourages project development within the sector, thereby contributing to the competitiveness and innovation of Croatia’s defence industry. Established on May 6th 2013, the CDICC was founded under the Triple Helix concept, integrating cooperation between the private sector, academia, and public/regional authorities. Its core mission is to enhance the competitiveness of the Croatian economy.
Since 2018, CDICC has functioned as an innovation cluster in compliance with European research, development, and innovation regulations, supporting its members in advancing industry on a global scale.
