CDICC participation at the NATO Defence Industry Forum, Ankara

Goran Basarac, President of the Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster (HKKOI), participated in the NATO Defence Industry Forum held in Ankara, Republic of Türkiye, together with representatives of Croatian defence companies Probotica and Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

The forum brought together numerous representatives of NATO, Allied countries and the defence industry with the aim of strengthening cooperation, developing joint projects, financing joint initiatives, and presenting future opportunities for industry involvement in NATO initiatives and programmes.

During the Forum, key opportunities for the defence industry within future NATO programmes were presented, with a particular emphasis on increasing production capacities, cooperation modalities and joint projects, innovation, establishing cooperation between NATO member states and the EU defence industry, new financing models, and the inclusion of companies from member states in international value chains.

By participating in this important international event, HKKOI President Goran Basarac further contributed to connecting the Croatian defence industry with international partners and to monitoring new opportunities that will be presented to Cluster members through information-sharing and expert reporting activities.
