An EDF Info Day, jointly organised by the Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster and the Croatian Employers’ Association, will take place on 14 April 2026 at the Croatian Employers’ Association headquarters (Radnička cesta 37a, Zagreb). The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until 2:00 p.m.
The programme will include welcome addresses, a comprehensive presentation of the European Defence Fund (EDF), and a panel discussion titled “EDF – An Opportunity for the Croatian Defence Industry?”. The event will conclude with networking opportunities, including a catered reception and B2B meetings among defence industry companies.
The European Defence Fund (EDF) is a key European Union financial instrument designed to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of the European defence industry, while fostering cooperation among EU Member States in defence research and capability development. Current EDF calls support projects across more than 30 thematic areas, including advanced defence technologies, unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space systems, sensors, energy solutions, and digital defence capabilities.
As part of the Info Day, B2B meetings will be organised between representatives of defence industry companies, with the aim of encouraging networking, exchanging expertise, and identifying potential partners for future EDF project applications.
Interested companies are invited to register for participation in the B2B meetings and present their competencies, technologies, and areas of interest for future cooperation under the European Defence Fund. Registration is available via the following link:
