The HUP Defence Industry Coordination has been established.

The Croatian Defense Industry Competitiveness Cluster (HKKOI) and its president Goran Basarac attended the founding meeting of the Defense Industry Coordination under the Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP). The Defense Industry Coordination within HUP was established with the aim of strengthening, fostering cooperation, and improving the business environment, as well as positioning domestic manufacturers on the European and national markets.

With the establishment of the coordination, the Croatian defense industry gains another platform to address key challenges and seize development opportunities related to European security needs. HKKOI extended a hand of cooperation to this initiative and proposed coordinated action.

Gordan Pešić, a Board member of DOK-ING and vice president of HKKOI, was appointed as the head of the HUP Defense Industry Coordination.
